With a waterproof bath protector, you can shower with a cast, bandage, dressing, wound, rash, splint, prosthesis, or anything else that should not get wet.
The ring features a soft, waterproof silicone membrane that can stretch significantly in circumference when applied, yet fits snugly around the arm.
The bath protector is approximately 51 cm long and fits forearms with a maximum circumference of 40 cm, including bandages.
ONLINE-EXCLUSIVE - This item can only be purchased on the webshop and is not available in stores.
Features and Benefits
The bath cover consists of a plastic ring with an inner silicone membrane, which you slide your hand through before guiding your arm into the vinyl sleeve.
It's important that the silicone seal sits above the bandage/cast and fits tightly.
The bath cover can be reused multiple times, up to a maximum duration of 2 months. Allow it to air dry between uses.
Plastic Ring Dimensions:
- Inner Circumference: 40 cm
- Outer Circumference: 49 cm
- Inner Diameter: 13 cm
- Outer Diameter: 15 cm
Vinyl Sleeve Dimensions:
- Length: 51 cm
Measure from the tip of the longest finger to the end of the area to be protected - cast, bandage, prosthesis, or similar. Add 4 cm to get the correct length for your bath protector.
Note the maximum measurement for circumference including cast, dressing, or similar.
Instructions:
-
Hold the plastic ring firmly and create a large opening with your hands, pulling SealProtect ® up as high as possible. Be careful not to apply pressure to the plastic ring when putting on SealProtect ®.
-
Ensure that SealProtect ® is positioned at least 3 cm above the cast, dressing, splint, or similar for optimal protection.
-
Gently press the plastic ring down a bit so the silicone membrane flips upwards as shown in the last image.
It is important to dry the ring and rubber membrane before removing SealProtect to avoid water collection in the ring, where the rubber membrane sits.
Safety:
-
SealProtect ® can become slippery when wet.
-
Use SealProtect ® with caution.
-
Adult supervision is recommended when children use SealProtect ®.
