With a waterproof bathing protector, you can take a shower with casts, bandages, wounds, rashes, splints, prostheses, or anything else that must not get wet.
The ring features a soft and waterproof silicone membrane that can be stretched considerably in circumference for application but fits snugly around the arm.
The bathing protector is 66 cm long and fits arms with a maximum circumference of 53 cm, including bandages.
For short-term use only, like washing and bathing. Not suitable for swimming protection.
ONLINE ITEM - This product can only be purchased online and is not available in-store.
Features and Benefits
The bathing cover comprises a strong plastic ring with a silicone membrane, which you pull your hand through, then slide your arm further into the vinyl bag.
It's important that the silicone seal is positioned over the bandage/cast and fits tightly.
The bathing protector can be used multiple times, but not beyond a period of 2 months. Let it air dry between each use.
Plastic Ring Dimensions:
- Inner Circumference: 53 cm
- Outer Circumference: 61 cm
- Inner Diameter: 17 cm
- Outer Diameter: 19 cm
Vinyl Bag Dimensions:

Measure from the tip of the longest finger to the end of the area to be protected - cast, bandage, prosthesis, or similar. Add 4 cm to determine the correct length for your bathing protector.
Be mindful of the maximum circumference measurement including cast, bandage, or similar.
User Instructions:
-
Hold the plastic ring and create a large opening with your hands, pulling SealProtect ® up as far as possible. Be careful not to apply pressure on the plastic ring when fitting SealProtect ®.
-
Ensure SealProtect ® is at least 3 cm above the cast, bandage, splint, or similar for optimal protection.
-
Gently push the plastic ring slightly downwards, so the silicone membrane faces upwards as shown in the last image.
It’s important to dry the ring and rubber membrane before removing SealProtect, as water may accumulate in the ring where the rubber membrane is situated.
