The CMC Push thumb brace provides stable support and relief for issues related to osteoarthritis of the thumb, pain, and reduced gripping ability. Its unique construction ensures optimal hand function in daily activities by stabilizing the thumb without restricting the movement of the other parts of the hand. The goal is to achieve the best possible use of the hand.

The flexible and compact brace is ideal for daily wear, as it doesn't interfere with hand function and feels natural to wear. It's also waterproof, allowing you to wash your hands as usual.

Sizes

Select the thumb brace for the right or left hand. Determine the appropriate size by measuring the circumference around the hand, as shown in the image.

Size 1: 16-19.5 cm
Size 2: 19.5-22.5 cm
Size 3: 22.5-26 cm

Features and Benefits

With osteoarthritis of the thumb, the thumb's mobility is often limited, which reduces hand function.

The thumb brace works by stabilizing the thumb's base joint while keeping the thumb in a position where a "thumb arch" is formed. When using your hand, the brace ensures that this arch remains stable, allowing for a firm grip and relieving pain when the thumb is under pressure.

This type of stabilization ensures that nearby joints, including the wrist, maintain their free mobility.

The brace is machine washable at 40 degrees or can be hand washed.

Anatomically Shaped: The thumb brace has an anatomically shaped support sleeve that stabilizes and relieves the thumb base. It is made of thin yet strong plastic with a reinforced aluminum core for additional support. The materials provide high durability, even with demanding hand work.
Adjustable: The thumb brace is fastened with two soft Velcro straps over the back of the hand. The level of support can be easily adjusted to your desired needs.
Antibacterial: As hygiene is crucial around the hand, the synthetic material is antibacterial.
