Stabilizing brace (Bauerfeind ValguLoc) for correcting a misalignment of the big toe. The brace is a resting splint suitable for Hallux Valgus (misaligned big toe), both conservatively and postoperatively (it is also used after surgery).

The big toe brace is anatomically designed, and its simple construction ensures patient-friendly use. A Velcro closure allows for seamless adjustment of correction pressure. The brace is worn without shoes and is not suitable for walking.

Choose from 3 sizes for either the right or left big toe.

Functionality:

With applied forces, the big toe is aligned into a more correct position. The brace corrects a misalignment based on the 3-point principle and extends shortened joint capsules or soft tissues.

Postoperatively, loss of correction, for example, due to cicatricial tension (tension in scar tissue), can be avoided, and the splint offers the big toe some protection from mechanical impacts.
