The Sealprotect® waterproof shower cover effectively safeguards bandages, casts, wounds, or prosthetics from getting wet while showering. This model is designed for the lower leg.

The ring features a soft, waterproof silicone membrane that can significantly stretch in circumference.

The shower protector is approximately 61 cm long and fits lower legs with a maximum circumference of 53 cm, including bandage. This size is also suitable for children.

For short-term use only, such as washing and bathing - not intended for swimming.

WEB ITEM - This item can only be purchased on the webshop and is not available in-store.

Features and Benefits

The shower cover consists of a sturdy plastic ring with a silicone membrane, which you pull your foot through, then guide your leg into the vinyl pouch.

It is crucial that the silicone seal sits over the bandage/cast and fits snugly.

The shower cover can be used multiple times, but only up to a period of 2 months. Allow it to air dry between each use.

Measurements of the plastic ring:

  • Inner circumference: 53 cm
  • Outer circumference: 61 cm
  • Inner diameter: 17 cm
  • Outer diameter: 19 cm

Measurements of the vinyl pouch:

  • Length: 61 cm

Measure from the heel to the end of the cast, bandage, or similar, and add 4 cm to determine the length SealProtect® should be.

Note the maximum circumference measurement, including cast, bandage, or similar.

User Instructions:

  1. Hold the plastic ring firmly and make a large opening with your hands, pull SealProtect® up as far as possible. Be careful not to apply pressure to the plastic ring when putting on SealProtect®.
  2. Ensure that SealProtect® sits at least 3 cm above the cast, bandage, splint, or similar for optimal protection.
  3. Gently push the plastic ring down a bit so the silicone membrane faces upwards as shown in the last image.

It is essential to dry the ring and rubber membrane before removing SealProtect, as water can accumulate in the ring where the rubber membrane is attached.

Safety:

  • SealProtect® may become slippery when wet.
  • Use SealProtect® with caution.
  • Adult supervision is recommended when children are using SealProtect®.
  • Only dry SealProtect® with a towel.
  • SealProtect® should not be dried on a heater.
