Waterproof bath cover for protecting bandages and casts on the lower leg.
The bath cover should not be used on open or unprotected wounds. It is not suitable for swimming and is intended for short-term use only.
Measures 60 cm in length and 41 cm in width.
The ring has an internal diameter of 17 cm and features a soft waterproof silicone membrane that can stretch significantly around the circumference.
The product is onesize and fits legs with a maximum circumference of 53 cm (including bandage).
More Information
The bath cover consists of a sturdy rubber ring with a silicone membrane. You thread your foot and leg through it and into the vinyl bag.
It is important that the silicone seal is positioned over the bandage/cast and fits tightly.
The protector can be used multiple times over a period of up to 2 months. Allow it to air dry between uses. Note that the bath protector can be damaged and become slippery when wet.
Dimensions
- Length: 60 cm
- Diameter, plastic ring: 19 cm (external)
- Width: 41 cm
Measure from the heel to the end of the area to be protected – cast, bandage, prosthesis, or similar. Add 3-4 cm to get the correct length for your shower protector.
Instructions for Use
- Firmly hold the plastic ring. Create an opening with your hands and pull the bath cover up as far as possible.
- Ensure the protector is positioned at least 3-4 cm above the area that must remain dry for optimal protection.
- Slightly push the plastic ring with the silicone opening down, so the water runs off instead of gathering on the silicone edge.
NOTE: It's important to dry the ring and silicone membrane before removing the bath cover to prevent water from reaching the areas that need to stay dry.
